The cottage has a 200 degree view of Discovery Passage, Quadra Island and the Cape Mudge Lighthouse, The Coastal Mountains and the Straight of Georgia. The best salmon fishing in the world is found directly in front of the cottage. Its' southeast exposure offers magnificent mountain and ocean vistas at sunrise and sunset with the moon shimmering across the water in the evening. Bald eagles, sea otters, seals, thousands of different sea birds and abundant marine life are seen at Seaside Cottage.
